1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can remember something between page loads — that you are signed in, or a preference you set. Similar technologies (localStorage, session storage) work the same way and are covered by this policy too.
2. What we set
- Essential cookies. Keep your session alive, remember your chat preferences, and protect against request forgery. The Service cannot work without them, so they do not require consent.
- Measurement cookies (where applicable). Tell us, in aggregate, which pages are visited so we can improve the site. They are optional, and where the law requires we ask before setting them.
We do not use cookies to track you across other websites, and we do not allow third-party advertising cookies on the Service.
3. Your controls
You can delete or block cookies at any time in your browser settings (look for "Privacy" or "Site data"). Blocking essential cookies will log you out and may break chat features; blocking measurement cookies has no effect on functionality. Most browsers also offer a private/incognito mode that discards all cookies when the window closes.
4. Changes and contact
If our cookie usage changes we will update this page and the date above. Questions belong on the contact page; how cookies fit into the bigger picture is covered by the Privacy Policy.
